In life, like ours, we create our own opportunities. Opportunities are often created by putting some effort into them. Like if your goal is to get in the university, you have to study. University by itself is an opportunity - when graduated, it could offer you a better life. You can't get an opportunity by sitting home, you have to do something for it. The doing part is called investing. You have to invest your time. It's same thing in business. You have to invest your time, money and other resources to create a business opportunity.

An opportunity by itself is not usually worth anything. Getting in the university is not worth anything, if you don't graduate. Like in business, investing is not worth anything if you are not able to reach your goal or your business don't attract the customers. Reaching your goal is called conquering. You have to conquer your goals and opportunities to get something out of your investment.

After graduating, getting a job or getting your business to fly, is the hardest part. You have to be different in some how and bring some new solutions to the problems to stand out. This separates winners from losers. It is kind of easy to be good, but if you want to be great, it takes so much more effort and maybe some good luck, success and right people. To be great you have to dominate.
